On August 17 FC “Sevastopol” played its 6th game in Ukrainian Premier League with FC “Dnipro”(Dnepropetrovsk).

Football club “Dnipro” was formed in 1918. Since then the team have changed its name 5 times until in 1961 the management approved the current one.

Though the club hasn’t won in any championships, players are showing their best in both domestic and international games. As for now, FC “Dnipro” ranks #3 in Ukrainian Premier League 2013/2014.

Nowadays, FC “Dnipro” is count to be one of the most popular football teams in Ukraine (according to the survey made by Kiev International Institute of Sociology). There are about 4 – 5 thousands of club’s fans in Ukraine.

The game between FC “Sevastopol” and FC “Dnipro” ended with a tie – 1:1. Both teams showed their passion and skills, which led to a spectacular show. Unfortunately, the incident provoked by ultras from Sevastopol ruined overall impression of the game.
